Vitalarmor™ Ca M10 is derived from whey permeate according to a precipitation, concentration and spray drying process. It subsequently undergoes micronization by passing through a specific crusher that obtains a very fine powder (particles <10 microns). The use of Vitalarmor™ Ca M10 is particularly recommended in pasty and liquid food matrices for a calcium fortification without texture defects.

Actical® has the distinction to not settle even in very liquid food matrices or in food matrices without fat. Lactoferrin has also been seen to encourage the regulation of bone marrow.
Colostrum (the initial form of breast milk) is exceptionally high in lactoferrin, about seven times higher than later breast milk. Breast milk is between five and ten times richer in lactoferrin than cow’s milk. Lactoferrin is therefore a valuable additive to infant milk formulae. It is also useful in developing medical nutrition products for sporting professionals and weight loss, including cereal bars and meal replacements.
